To strengthen the competitive edge of the Becancour Lithium Refinery, we've prioritised the streamlining of our supply chain and looked for a single logistics provider for chemical reagents. 

We're excited to announce that $LU7 has now signed an MOU with Quebec-based chemical logistics leader, Servitank.

Lithium Universe Limited (ASX:LU7) has entered into a strategic partnership with Quebec-based Servitank for chemical logistics supply to support operations at the Bécancour Lithium Refinery. Servitank, known for its expertise in supply chain management, will ensure reliable delivery of essential chemicals and explore secondary product management opportunities. This partnership aims to streamline the supply chain, enhancing operational efficiency and sustainability in the rapidly growing lithium sector. Servitank will leverage its logistics capabilities to support the development of the Bécancour Lithium Refinery, projected to produce green battery-grade lithium carbonate. The MOU outlines plans for efficient chemical supply and logistics, including the construction of storage solutions for specific process reagents. Servitank will also assist in sourcing specialty reagents locally, promoting circular economy practices within the Bécancour Industrial Park. Additionally, both companies will explore potential partnerships for product management and storage solutions, focusing on utilizing by-products effectively. Servitank’s facilities will play a crucial role in the storage and transportation of spodumene, further enhancing operational efficiency at the refinery. Chairman Iggy Tan emphasizes the significance of this partnership in realizing the vision for the Bécancour Lithium Refinery and bridging the lithium conversion gap.
