Principal Activities
The principal activities of the Group during the 2026 Half-Year were as follows:
The Company continued to advance its Bécancour Lithium Refinery project in Québec. In February 2026, the
Company entered into a binding long-term offtake agreement with Norah Mining Limited for the supply of up to 80,000
tonnes per annum of 6.0% Li₂O spodumene concentrate, securing a significant portion of the proposed refinery’s
future feedstock requirements.
The Company progressed its strategy to develop a second lithium refinery at the Port of Brownsville, Texas. Following
a detailed site assessment by the executive team, the proposed location was considered potentially suitable for
replication of the Bécancour refinery design, with favourable access to port infrastructure, utilities, labour and
potential spodumene supply. The Company commenced progressing the land lease application and project study
work for a proposed 18,270 tonne per annum battery-grade lithium carbonate refinery.
The Company continued development of its photovoltaic solar panel recycling technology. During the period,
engineering commenced on a modular demonstration plant integrating the Microwave Joule Heating Technology
(MJHT) for panel delamination and Jet Electrochemical Silver Extraction (JESE) technology for the recovery of high-
purity silver. The Company also progressed further technical and environmental assessment work, including a Life
Cycle Assessment of the proposed silver extraction process.
In May 2026, the Company secured an exclusive global licence from the University of Edinburgh for the Gold Copper
Diamide Extraction (GCDE) technology, a hydrometallurgical process designed to selectively recover gold and
copper from electronic waste using reusable organic reagents. The acquisition expands the Group’s recycling
strategy beyond solar panels into the broader e-waste sector.
Following acquisition of the GCDE technology, the Company commenced a development and commercialisation
program during June 2026. Initial test work achieved gold recovery of 99.5% and copper recovery of 98.5%. The
Company subsequently completed the preliminary process flowsheet and block diagram and developed a conceptual
demonstration plant design to support further scale-up and commercialisation activities.
Review of Results and Operations
The consolidated loss of the Group for the 2026 Half-Year after providing for income tax amounted to $1,294,891 (2025 Half-
Year: loss of $8,018,056).

Objectives
The Company’s objective is to advance its lithium conversion and critical materials recycling strategies to support the global
transition to clean energy. This includes developing sustainable lithium refining capacity and commercialising innovative
technologies for the recovery of valuable materials from solar panels and electronic waste, while addressing resource scarcity,
supply chain security and waste reduction.
Review of Operations and Activities Summary
During the 2026 Half-Year, the Group continued to advance its lithium conversion and critical materials recycling strategies.
Key developments included securing a long-term spodumene feedstock supply for the Bécancour Lithium Refinery,
progressing the proposed second lithium refinery at Brownsville, Texas, advancing the engineering and environmental
assessment of its solar panel recycling technologies, and acquiring and progressing a new gold and copper recovery
technology for electronic waste.
During the 2026 Half-Year, the following developments were made in the Company’s operations:
Québec Lithium Processing Hub Strategy
Following completion of the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) for the Bécancour Lithium Carbonate Refinery in February 2025,
the Company continued to focus on securing the key commercial inputs required to advance the project. The proposed refinery
is designed to produce up to 18,270 tonnes per annum of battery-grade lithium carbonate and forms the cornerstone of the
Company’s strategy to help address the North American “Lithium Conversion Gap”.
In February 2026, the Company entered into a binding Definitive Offtake Agreement with Norah Mining Limited for the long-
term supply of spodumene concentrate from the Norah Lithium Project in Nigeria. The agreement has an initial term of 10
years, with successive five-year extensions, and provides for the supply of up to approximately 80,000 tonnes per annum of
spodumene concentrate grading 6.0% Li₂O. The agreement represents an important step in securing a significant proportion
of the proposed Bécancour Refinery’s feedstock requirements and supports the Company’s broader financing and
development strategy.
Brownsville Lithium Refinery Strategy
Senior members of the Company’s executive team completed a detailed site assessment at Brownsville, Texas, as part of the
Company’s strategy to establish a second North American lithium refinery. The assessment confirmed the potential suitability
of the location, including access to deep-water port infrastructure, transport networks, utilities, industrial services, labour and
future expansion capacity.
The proposed Brownsville refinery is intended to replicate, with appropriate regional modifications, the engineering and
process design developed for Bécancour. This “copy-and-paste” strategy is expected to reduce development time,
engineering costs and execution risk while creating a binational lithium refining platform across Canada and the United States.
Following the site assessment, the Company progressed towards a formal land lease application and commencement of a
Pre-Feasibility Study for a proposed 18,270 tonne per annum battery-grade lithium carbonate refinery.
Solar Panel Recycling Technology
During the Half-Year, the Company continued to progress the commercial development of its Microwave Joule Heating
Technology (MJHT) and Jet Electrochemical Silver Extraction (JESE) Technology, developed by Macquarie University.
Together, the technologies are designed to provide an integrated solution for the selective delamination of end-of-life solar
panels and recovery of valuable materials, particularly silver and silicon.
In January 2026, the Company commenced the engineering phase for a modular PV silver-extraction demonstration plant.
The proposed plant is being designed to integrate MJHT for solar panel delamination with JESE for the recovery of high-purity
silver from processed solar cells. The modular configuration is intended to facilitate scalability and replication across multiple
jurisdictions while reducing site construction and commissioning requirements.
In April 2026, the Company announced the results of a Life Cycle Assessment undertaken by Macquarie University on the
JESE silver extraction process. The assessment demonstrated significant potential environmental advantages compared with
conventional acid-leaching processes, including reductions of approximately 85% in carbon emissions, 83% in nitric acid
consumption, 67% in energy consumption, 77% in water consumption and 88% in solid waste generation. These results
further support the potential development of a lower-impact, closed-loop process for recovering silver from end-of-life
photovoltaic panels.

Gold and Copper Extraction from E-Waste Technology
In May 2026, the Company expanded its critical materials recycling strategy by securing exclusive global rights from the
University of Edinburgh to commercially develop the Gold Copper Diamide Extraction (GCDE) technology. The GCDE process
is a hydrometallurgical technology designed to selectively recover gold and copper from electronic waste using reusable
organic reagents under comparatively mild operating conditions, providing a potential alternative to conventional high-
temperature smelting and other energy-intensive recovery processes.
Following acquisition of the technology, the Company established a structured development and commercialisation program
in collaboration with the University of Edinburgh. Laboratory optimisation test work using electronic waste achieved gold
recovery of 99.5% and copper recovery of 98.5%, demonstrating the potential effectiveness and selectivity of the process.
By the end of the Half-Year, the Company had completed a preliminary GCDE process flowsheet and block diagram, prepared
a preliminary process description and developed a conceptual demonstration plant design. These activities provide the
technical foundation for further process optimisation, scale-up and evaluation of the technology’s commercial potential in the
growing electronic-waste recycling market.
